Steve, you came into my family’s life in a very dark time, and in moments we felt safe, loved, and you brought a new light to our lives that no other could. You shared your many adventures with us and I am so privileged to have heard them. You understood my interests and you made me feel included when others wouldn’t. You accepted for who you were. We talked about many adventures that we’d go on near or far, it’s a shame we never got to do them, but I will carry those out in your honour. Although you are not here now, you are always with us. Your family and friends adored you beyond belief and always cherished the times that they shared with you. As they always say, this is never goodbye, only adios.
